Iran intends to install Russian equipment on their warships

The head of Iran's navy, Gholam Reza Bilko, said today that Iran is conducting talks with Moscow about to sign an agreement on purchase of Russian equipment for Iran's navy.

According to RIA Novosti, Bikam clarified that the equipment will be used for rescue and emergency operations on water.

The admiral added that Iran is developing agreements with the Caspian states to conduct joint military exercises.
