Head of EU delegation sees intensive dialogue between EU and Armenia

Armenia and the European Union have established an intensive dialogue,
according to the head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Raul de
Lucenberger, News Armenia reports.

Lucenberger said that the agreements with the government of Armenia
focus on negotiations on association with the EU. This is necessary
for free trade between Armenia and the EU and will give Armenian
enterprises access to the internal market, he said.

The EU official said that they are working on the "justice, freedom,
security" component, border management, security of passports and
other documents and the fight against organized crime. This will be
the basis for agreements on easing the visa regime and readmission.
