Turkey stands for normalizing relations with Russia

As previously, Turkey stands for normalization of relations with Russia, Vural Altay, the Turkish Foreign Ministry's representative for Eastern Europe, told Trend on May 17th.

He said the crisis in relations between the two countries are in favor of neither Russia, nor Turkey.

"Turkey have not closed diplomatic channels in order to restore relations with Russia," he added.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said there is an improvement in relations between Russia and Turkey.
