UNESCO to finance restoration of cultural monuments in Georgia

UNESCO has decided to finance seven projects in Georgia worth
$126,000, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Nino
Kalandadze on Monday, News-Georgia reports.

Among others, the following projects are planned: the restoration of
the documentation of the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the11th
century, located in the historic town of Mtskheta, as well as the
reinstalling of a collection of the National Museum.
