Agreement on Georgia's association with EU to come into force in July, Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports

The Agreement on Georgia’s Association with the European Union completely enters into force on June 1st 2016, the head of the Georgian Foreign Ministry, Mikhail Janelidze, reported.

According to him, Georgia has received political support from all the European countries in terms of the association agreement in a very short time, and it comes come into force on July 1st. ‘’It is known that the agreement provisionally entered into force in 2014, during the meetings we discussed all the positive results that Georgia has received  after 2014 ... The trade turnover with Europe has grown up, the exports is growing, there are huge investment projects on the part of the financial institutions and private European entrepreneurs,’’ Sputnik Georgia quotes the minister of foreign affairs as saying.
