Lev Kuznetsov sets task to bring 5 million tourists to SKFO resorts

The Ministry of the Northern Caucasus plans to increase in two times the flow of tourists to the resorts of the North Caucasus Federal District  to 5 million people, the head of the ministry, Lev Kuznetsov, voiced such a task today.

He noted that the launch of the tourist route ‘Silk Road’ and ‘Tea Express’ will attract  2.5 million to the resorts of the North Caucasus. In addition, Lev Kuznetsov noted that the growth of the tourist flow to ‘Arkhyz’ in the winter season has amounted to 30%, to Elbrus- up to 15%.  The construction of infrastructure on the resort ‘Veduchi’ in Chechnya should also contribute to the increase in the tourist flow, RIA Novosti reports.
