Red Book republished in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan the second edition of Red Book of the Republic is published with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Huseyn Bagirov, said in his interview, the text of which is available on the website of the ruling party ‘Yeni Azerbaijan’.

‘’In the framework of the project, implemented with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation,  the 150 goitered were resettled in their historic habitats. Also, based on the information about rare and endangered plant and animal species in the country gathered by the scientists and specialists, the second edition of Red book of Azerbaijan in two volumes was published, Trend quotes the minister as saying.

He added that currently the work on the protection of the wildlife is implemented.
