Iran proposes to deliver cargoes from Persian Gulf bypassing Turkey

Iran has proposed a new transportation route for the delivery of cargoes from the Persian Gulf to Europe bypassing Turkey.

According to the Deputy director of 'Iranian Railways', Hossein Achouri, firstly cargoes will be delivered to neighboring Azerbaijan, then to Georgia by train and the final stage will be shipping of goods from the ports of Batumi and Poti to the Bulgarian ports and Romania, and then to other European countries, Trend reports.
