Military capacities of Southern Military Region increased

The military potential of the troops of the Southern Military District
after reforms has increased 2.5-fold,  Moscow District Commander Lt.
General Alexander Galkin told reporters on Tuesday, RIA Novosti
reports.

On the 1st of December, the number of military districts in Russia was
decreased from six to four. From now on the country will be divided
into Western, Southern, Central and Eastern military districts.
