Iranian parliamentarians to discuss foreign minister's dismissal

The legality of the dismissal of Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr
Mottaki will be discussed today at a meeting of the Iranian
parliamentary committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, Trend
reports.

On the 13th of December, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dismissed
Mottaki, who was at that time on a visit to Senegal. Akbar Salehi  was
appointed acting Foreign Minister. He previously headed the Atomic
Energy Organization of Iran.
