Turkish FM to pay official visit to Libya
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will make a crucial state visit to Libya on Monday in a bid to boost mutual ties between the two countries, Yeni Safak news agency reports.
The Minister will meet Libyan Foreign Minister Mohammed Siyala and President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Mustafa Al-Sarraj.
During the meeting, Çavuşoğlu is expected to discuss Turkish companies' 304 incomplete projects in Libya, with the aim of taking steps for the projects to be completed.
Also, the process of reopening the Turkish embassy in Libya, evacuated in 2014 over security concerns, is expected to gather speed.
