Syrian Air Force helicopter crashes near Al-Qamishli

A Syrian Air Force helicopter has crashed near the city of Al-Qamishli, a local airport source told Sputnik on Monday.

The source told Sputnik that the helicopter crashed due to a technical malfunction.

"A Syrian helicopter crashed. The pilot and his assistant were killed," the source said, adding that technical issues caused the crash.
