Kvirikashvili meets with Vice Premier of China’s State Council
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and China’s Executive Vice Premier of the State Council, Zhang Gaoli, discussed bilateral economic cooperation at today's meeting in Tbilisi.
They discussed the possibilities of the new Silk Road, as well as the future development of Georgia's transit potential, noting that the development of economic and infrastructure projects increases the importance of cooperation.
"I am pleased that the relations between Georgia and China are developing successfully over the past few years and your visit is a confirmation," Kvirikashvili said, referring to Gaoli.
The Prime Minister underlined that Georgia attaches great importance to partnership with China and it is open to the Chinese people, Chinese investments and innovative ideas.
