Putin: Russia abandon neither South Stream nor Turkish Stream

Moscow hasn't completely abandoned either the South Stream or the Turkish Stream gas pipeline projects, however, it is necessary to know the stance of the European Commission, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

He made the remarks at a joint press conference in Moscow following the talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, RIA Novosti news agency reported.

"As for export routes [for gas supplies] on the bottom of the Black Sea, we have some political difficulties with Turkey," Trend cites Putin as saying.
