Zero inflation recorded in Russia for the first time this year

Zero inflation was recorded in Russia for the first time during the year. Thus, the Federal State Statistics Service data showed that during the period from May 31st to June 6th, consumer prices for goods and services remained unchanged.

It is worth noting that the last time zero inflation was recorded in August 2015.

According to experts, the fall in prices of some agricultural products: eggs, pork, salt, flour, rice, millet, cucumbers, cabbages helped to set inflation to nil.

Recall that during the past few months the weekly inflation rate was at the level of 0.1-0.2%.
