Security Council of Iran praises meeting of defence ministers of Iran, Russia and Syria

The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Shamkhani, praised the cooperation between Iran, Russia and Syria in fighting terrorism.
   
The trilateral meeting between Iran, Russia and Syria demonstrates their commitment in fighting terrorism," Trend cited Ali Shamkhani as saying.

Shamkhani referred to continuation of the plight suffered by Syrian people due to the complication of the crisis in the region and said the approach adopted by the United States and its western and regional allies to the crisis in Syria shows that they are trying to create a margin of safety for the Zionist regime.

"Nobody but Syrians themselves has the right to decide about the governing system and the future rulers of Syria," IRNA cited him as saying.
