Massoud Jazayeri: independence from US is only path to protect EU

A senior commander in Iran's Revolutionary Guard, Massoud Jazayeri, described Britain's decision as payback for "years of colonialism and crimes against humanity".

Jazayeri added that their separation would represent the 'lowest price' for the UK to pay in return.   "The only path to protect the EU is the open and practical independence from the White House," he added.   Jazayeri also supported the calls for separation of other countries from Great Britain, saying, "The people of Scotland and other countries have the right to leave the yoke of monarchy of the so-called Great Britain".
