Putin: cooperation between Russia and China due to very life

Earlier in the day, the Russian leader held talks with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, Zhang Dejiang, and the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
The relations between Russian and China are based on mutual interests and have good prospects for the further successful development, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
The Russian leader stressed that the bilateral relations are based mainly on economy, as well as on culture and education, adding that "in one way or another, everything has an economic base".
Putin stressed that relations between Russia and China represent overall strategic partnership and have good prospects for the future.
Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the leader of China, Xi Jinping, explained their frequent and regular meetings of the requirement of the Chinese and Russian peoples to strengthen cooperation, and said that each meeting is held constructively with signing of agreements and contracts.
"Mr. President, dear friend, we meet very frequently and regularly, but every our meeting is informative. This is not due just a formal event - the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Sino-Russian Good-Neighborly Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, which is important. This is due to the very life, is due to a demand from the Chinese and Russian peoples for the strengthening and development of our relations," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
"We have a wide agenda this time as well, colleagues from both sides are here and each has a counterparty, which is engage in very meaningful work and a very deep discussion, which ends with a result, agreements, contracts and provides progress in our cooperation," Putin said.
Chinese President Xi Jinping during a meeting with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that the strategic partnership between Russia and China contributes to the healthy development of regional and international politics.
"I welcome President Putin. We have been engaged in very close contacts these years. Thus we maintain a high level of our strategic partnership and comprehensive cooperation contributing to the healthy development of regional and international politics," the Chinese leader said.
"This year marks the the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Sino-Russian Good-Neighborly Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation and the 20th anniversary of the bilateral strategic partnership agreement. That is why President Putin's visit to China is of particular importance," he added.
"I highly appreciate our efforts with President Putin to strengthen bilateral relations in the new era," the Chinese President said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to determine the priorities of bilateral relations in the future at the Russian-Chinese talks in Beijing in an expanded format.
He expressed confidence that Russia and China are able to achieve even greater success in all areas of cooperation: trade, investment in agriculture, energy and high tech.
The government of Russia and China have signed an agreement on joint implementation of long-haul widebody aircraft in Beijing today.
The two governments also signed a cooperation agreement on the program of creation of a civil perspective heavy helicopter.
Russia and China have signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Russian Central Bank and the China Securities Regulatory Commission on raising funds for the Yamal LNG by Chinese banks. Russian Railways and China Railway signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation deal, Rostelecom and Huawei signed a framework agreement on cooperation.
During the meeting the parties signed a declaration of the beginning of the negotiation process on the development of agreements on trade and economic cooperation between the EEU and China.
"Russia has been stepping up oil exports via Russian-Chinese oil pipeline. We are advancing a project to build a refinery in Tianjin. Works on the Force of Siberia gas pipeline are on schedule and it’s expected to reach full capacity in 2020. We are discussing conditions to deliver Russian gas to China through the western route," Sputnik cited Putin as saying.
"Chinese partners have increased their participation in the largest Russian project to produce liquefied natural gas 'Yamal'," the President of the Russian Federation added.
Moscow and Beijing have also agreed to develop cooperation on nuclear energy projects in third countries, Putin said.
"Peaceful atomic cooperation is growing stronger. We are closing on the launch of two more energy units, built using Russian technology, at the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in 2018. We have agreed to work closer together on the markets of third countries," Putin said after talks with the Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
The President of China has invited the Russian President to take part in the G20 meeting, which will take place in China in early September.
The talks in Beijing were attended by the head of the presidential administration Sergei Ivanov, the Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, the Deputy Prime Ministers Olga Golodets and Dmitry Rogozin, the presidential envoy in the Far East, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev, the presidential aide Yuri Ushakov and a number of ministers.
