Russian football team lacked commitment at the European Championship, the minister and president of the Russian Football Union, Vitaly Mutko, said today on Match TV sports.

"The potential of the team is quite incomprehensible, unexplored. It seems to be the most experienced team, but there are young players. There were promising matches in qualification. It always happens so with the Russian team at the Euro -the team is constrained, there is no leader. The guys were shocked, they could not throw a ball,’’ Mutko said, reports TASS.

"Some players were for the first time on such a tournament. There is an overall responsibility for this result. What did make me upset the most? It is that you always want to see a great commitment," Mutko said.
