6 -7 magnitude earthquake jolts Kyrgyzstan

6-7 magnitude earthquake jolted southern Kyrgyzstan on Sunday, June 26, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan informs, Kabar news agency reported.

The quake was registered at 17.16 pm of local time.

 According to preliminary data of the Emergencies Ministry, the epicenter was on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, some 390 kilometers south of the capital Bishkek.

Tremors were felt in Bishkek city as well.

No casualties or damage reported.
