Kadyrov agrees to run for post of the head of Chechnya

The acting head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said he had agreed to participate in the presidential elections of the Republic and submitted necessary documents to the election commission.

"By the will of Allah, I agreed to participate in the election of the head of the Chechen Republic. I has just submitted all the relevant documents to the election commission. I has handed a statement of consent to be a candidate,’’ RIA Novosti cites Kadyrov’s message in Instagram
