Ph.D. Habibov thanks President Ilham Aliyev and his Russian teachers
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA ceremony on the occasion of the awarding of the Ph.D of medical sciences, Professor, honored Ph.D of Russia, member of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences and the Russian Society of Endoscopic Surgeons, Sabir Gabibov, for merits in development of medical science the diploma of President of Azerbaijan took place at the embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia today.
"I was very happy when I heard on June 16th that I would be awarded the diploma of the President in accordance with the decree by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. I have been working for 40 years in Russia. It means that Ilham Aliyev doesn't forget our success. He always think about his compatriots and I am very happy that I received this diploma according to President's decree," he shared his joy.
Sabir Habibov said that "all great professionals who are now working now in Azerbaijan are alumni of the Russian school."
"Some people defended their graduation works and then returned to Azerbaijan. Now they send students to their teachers in Russia. Thus, the Azerbaijani medicine is developing very actively. Thanks such a close contact we have one of the best health care in the Caucasus,'' he said, adding that he is very proud that he was a member of the Russian medical school.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu pointed out that the fact that Ilham Aliyev awarded Sabir Gabibova is very symbolic, as a lot of Azerbaijanis live in Russia. They work for the benefit of Russia and Azerbaijan is proud of them.
"Sabir Habibov has been working in Moscow for many years and he has a great authority there. This honorary diploma underlines that President pays attention to all Azerbaijanis who live both in Russia, and other parts of the world. I am very pleased to present this diploma to Sabir Habibov. I would like to congratulate our dear Doctor and wish him long life, good health and success in his professional career," Polad Bulbuloglu said.
