The decision on providing loans to Iran for implementation of two projects - railroad and electric power - will be made by the Russian government this week, the Russian Deputy Finance Minister Sergey Storchak said.

"The government will take the decision this week. Those are two pilot projects, which may see decisions made this week," TASS cited him as saying.

The total amount of loans to be provided to Iran will top around 2.5 billion euro.
