Two residents of Kazakhstan infected with anthrax

Laboratory tests showed that three residents of Ertis village in Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar region were infected with anthrax, the epidemiologist of the regional hospital, Gulmira Kulmagambetova, said. 

Kulmagambetova added that two patients' condition is assessed as moderately severe and the third man is in the intensive care unit.

Three people were hospitalized last week with anthrax symptoms after cutting infected meat.
