Investigation Committee to check law enforcers who released fighters with Sviridov

The head of the Russian Investigation Committee ordered the law enforcers, who did not take measures to arrest those who took part in the fight on Cronstadt Avenue in Moscow, to inspected spokesman of the organization Vladimir Markin said, RIA Novosti reports.

A fan of Spartak football club Yegor Sviridov was killed in that fight. The police arrested six suspects and released five of them later. His death and the actions of the law enforcers resulted in discontent of many football fans. Last weekends the nationalists in Saint-Petersburg and Manezhnaya Square in Moscow started unsanctioned protests resulting in disorders. Groups of young people attempted to organize similar protests in Moscow and St. Petersburg on Wednesday.
