Turkish Sports Ministry suspends 245 officials

Turkey’s Ministry of Youth and Sports has suspended 245 personnel on Wednesday amid a nationwide move against those suspected of having links to last Friday's military coup attempt, the Andalou Agency reports.

9332 people were arrested in Turkey, including two adjutant of the President, 492 personnel of Turkey's Religious Affairs Directorate, 100 police officers, 6038 soldiers, 755 judges and prosecutors, more than 250 employees of the Prime Minister's office and 650 civilians.
