Meeting of Turkish National Security Council starts

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is chairing a meeting of the National Security Council in Ankara.
 
The meeting will discuss the situation in Turkey after the attempted military coup.

Then, a Cabinet of Ministers meeting will be held, which is expected to make important decisions on identifying and fighting rebels. The meeting participants will also discuss reinstating the death penalty in the country, Trend reports.
