President of Northern Cyprus treated in Ankara

The president of Northern Cyprus, Dervis Eroglu, underwent heart
surgery in Ankara yesterday, Trend cites Xinhua.

The 72-year old president had a coronary arterial bypass graft. The
operation was a success, the agency cites the hospital in Guven.

Eroglu is currently in intensive care. The president of the Republic
of Cyprus, Dimitris Christofias, wished him a fast recovery by
telephone.
