Lebanese gymnast: I strive to show my best at World Cup Final in Baku

Lebanese gymnast Alissa Sadek stressed that she tries to do her best at the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku.

"For me it is very important to reach such level [of performance], because I am the only gymnast from Lebanon and I am representing my country at the international tournament. Therefore, I am trying to overcome the anxiety I feel," she said.

According to the gymnast, her performances with the ball and the hoop could be better, but "I'm trying to turn it into celebration that everyone can enjoy, including me." She added that she expects only positive emotions from the World Cup in Baku.

Alissa Sadek also thanked the audience for their active support.

Recall that today the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics started in Baku. It is attended by 26 athletes and nine teams from 17 countries.
