Cases brought on police officers who beaten demonstrators

The Special Investigation Service of Armenia opened a criminal case on the fact of abuse of authority by the police officers in the office during the protests after the capture of an armed group PPP regiment building in Yerevan, the press service of the department reports.

A criminal case was opened under Part 1 of st.308 (abuse of power), Part 2 st.309 (abuse of power), part 2 st.164 (impeding the lawful professional activities of a journalist) and Part 1 st.332.3 (obstruction of justice and investigation) of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
