Altay Hasanov: Marina Durunda made Azerbaijan proud with her medal

"We always want to get more medals and positive emotions from the results, and it is great that Marina made us proud in the finals with ribbon," he said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
Altay Hasanov stressed that the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation worked very hard to organize and hold the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics. "Our Federation holds events of different calibres for many years, and always successfully. I think we can host even bigger events in the future. We can do it," he said.
Altay Hasanov also stressed the importance of coverage of international competitions in Baku by foreign media, thanking Vestnik Kavkaza for the coverage of gymnastic competitions in Azerbaijan.
"Of course our events are always covered by local media outlets, but it significant that it is also done by foreign media like Vestnik Kavkaza. When our guests and contestants are interviewed by local agencies, they naturally speak about Baku and the Federation with gratitude and compliments. It is important that they sincerely tell the same things to foreign agencies, Vestnik Kavkaza in particular," Vice-president of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation stressed.
The FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics ends today. The final 10th FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku is attended by 26 famous athletes and 9 teams from 17 countries.
