Russian Security Council discusses Erdogan's visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed preparations for Turkish President Recep Tyyip Erdogan’s visit to Russia with permanent members of Security Council, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"In the context of preparing for the Turkish President Erdogan’s visit planned for the first half of August, Putin informed permanent members of Security Council about his recent direct telephone talks with Erdogan and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanuyahu," TASS cited Peskov as saying.

The meeting was attended by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Kremlin chief of staff Sergey Ivanov, the Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.
