BP restores oil production on Chirag field

The company BP, the operator of the development on the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oilfield block in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, has resumed production of light oil from the Chirag field, Trend reports.

The work of the platform was stopped on December 11 for preventive maintenance work. Currently, production from the platform has resumed at the usual level, at around 98 thousand barrels.
