Anton Chupkov wins Olympic bronze in 200m breaststroke

Russian swimmer Anton Chupkov has won the bronze medal in men’s 200m breaststroke at the Olympic Games in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday.

Chupkov finished the final heat in 2 minutes and 7.7 seconds. Gold went to Kazakhstan's Dmitry Balandin (2,07.46). Josh Prenot of the United States won the silver medal (2,07.53), TASS reports.

This medal is the 15th one won by Russia at the Rio Games.
