60 billion rubles to be invested in North Caucasus hydropower plant network
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRusGidro plans to invest 60 billion rubles into North Caucasus hydroenergy development by 2015. The company’s chairman, Evgeny Dod, emphasizes that they plan to formulate a strategy to develop the region’s energy in general, RIA Dagestan reports.
“The common potential of Caucasus hydroenergy is 4.5 thousand megawatts, and, certainly, it would be wrong not to develop it, especially when there are such good hydroenergy schools in Dagestan, North Ossetia and Kabardino-Balkaria,” he said.
