Boxer Eugeny Tishchenko will fight for Olympic gold

Russian boxer Eugeny Tishchenko has advanced the final of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the category up to 91 kg.

In the semi-finals he defeated a boxer from Uzbekistan Rustam Tulaganov 3:0.

Tishchenko’s opponent in the final will be either Vasiliy Levit from Kazakhstan, or Cuban Erislandy Savon. The battle for the gold medal will take place on August 16.

According to the rules of the Olympic Games, both participants of the semifinals will receive bronze medals.
