Nijat Rahimov performs unique celebration after winning gold medal

Olympic weightlifting winner left internet baffled with his unique celebration. A clip of Kazakhstan’s Nijat Rahimov doing a peculiar dance was posted after competing in the 77-kilogram weightlifting class.

And it turns out he had a reason to celebrate, since he has upset favourite Lyu Xiaojun of China to take home the gold medal, Express.co.uk reports.

In addition, Rahimov beat the best clean and jerk record, which belonged to Russian Oleg Perepechenov since 2001.
