Azerbaijan prevents smuggling of 141 kg heroin from Iran

On August 14, employees of Astara Custom Department of the State Customs Committee prevented smuggling of a total of more than 141 kg of heroin from Iran to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The customs officers detained DAF truck driven by Tajik citizen, and found heroin hidden in the truck.

In the testimony, he said he intended to go Georgia through Azerbaijan.
