It is an historical monument, all the events that are associated with the history of Ingushetia as a part of Russia are reflected in it. More than two hundred years ago we took an oath of allegiance to our country and have always remained faithful to it. The names of those who heroically defended the independence of our great country Russia are immortalized in the Monument of Memory. The younger generation should know their names and be proud of their great past. There are tragic and heroic pages in the history of the Ingush people. This monument is a reminder of these events both for the elderly and the younger generations. We must remember and not forget, and move forward with our heads held high.’’
