Armenia’s monthly subsistence level decreases
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenia's monthly subsistence level in average prices in the end of the second quarter of 2016 decreased by 6.5% from the same time span of 2015 to 55,703 drams, the Armenian National Statistical Service said.
According to it, the cost of the annual subsistence level is estimated at 668, 438 drams. According to statistics, the cost of the monthly food basket in the second quarter was 31,116 drams, ARKA reports.
The minimum set of food products per person includes: bread (annual consumption is 91.3 kg and the cost is 45,796 drams), meat products (36.5 kg and 89,100 drams respectively), potatoes (91.3 kg and 20.880 drams), fruits (73 kg and 40,339 drams), vegetables (109.5 kg and 19,500 drams), sugar (18.3 kg and 6,600 drams), dairy products (80,500 drams), eggs (182 pieces and 10,400 drams), vegetable oil (7.3 kg and 5,464 drams), fish (11 kg and 21,600 drams) and margarine (3.7 kg and 4,600 drams).
