35 kg of silver detained on Upper Lars

The Russian customs officers have prevented a smuggler, who was traveling from Dagestan to Georgia, to smuggle secretly 35 kg of silver through the checkpoint Upper Lars.

According to Ossetia Times, the incident occurred in the last month. The owner of Nissan, the resident of Dagestan, did not fill out and submit the customs declaration, when trying to cross the Russian-Georgian border on the Georgian Military Highway.
