Necessary actions will continue to be taken to prevent the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), which is led by US-based preacher Fetullah Gulen, from taking roots in Azerbaijan, the country’s Interior Minister Ramil Usubov said during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Efkan Ala in Ankara.

Usubov said the purpose of his visit to Ankara is to discuss the steps that were and will be taken after the failed coup attempt in Turkey.   "Necessary actions will continue to be taken to prevent FETO from taking roots in Azerbaijan," APA cited him as saying.   The Turkish minister, in turn, said that there is an effective cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan to eradicate the FETO-linked elements in both countries. The two countries will continue to conduct exchange of intelligence information and coordinate their activities in this regard, Efkan Ala added.
