Suicide bomber of Vladikavkaz terrorist attack identified

The investigation has identified the suicide bomber who detonated a
bomb equivalent to 30-40kg of TNT at the central market of Vladikavkaz
on September 9, 2010, RIA Novosti cites the official spokesman of the
Russian Investigation Committee, Vladimir Markin.

The suicide bomber activated a bomb .19 people were killed and over
200 were injured in the explosion.

The Federal Security Services of Ingushetia and North Ossetia-Alaniya
identified the terrorist. He was a local of Nazran, Magomet Malsagov,
born in 1986. He left home on August 19, 2010. His relatives had no
information as to where he went.

In November, the police detained a suspected member of Yusup
Dzangiyev’s Karabulak groups, a suspected organizer of the blast. He
will remain in detention until January 11, 2011. Dzangiyev said that
he was planning a new attack.
