Sargsyan accepts resignation of government

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has accepted the resignation of the government, Sargsyan’s press office reported. It said the decision was made on the basis of a resignation application tendered by outgoing Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on September 8, Arka News Agency reports.

Under a decree of the President, all the members of the government will continue to perform their duties until the formation of a new government.
