Work of regional authorities to be assessed by more factors

The head of the Russian government, Vladimir Putin, has expanded the
list of factors according to which the work of the regional executive
authorities should be assessed, RIA Novosti reports.

The official decree concerning these changes was posted on the site of
the cabinet on Friday.

In particular, the decree provides for such factors as direct foreign
investment per capita in the regions of Russia, foreign trade turnover
in the regions, the proportion of land owned by the Federation
subjects, etc.
