Hopes for Georgia's Mestia mountain resort

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili hopes that the new mountain

resort in Mestia, in the Svaneti region, will host about half a

million tourists in a few years, NewsGeorgia reports.

Saakashvili urged businessmen to build hotels in the area.
