SCO anti-terror drills starts in Kyrgyzstan

Joint anti-terror exercises of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) 'Peace Mission 2016' began in Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Central Military District's press service said. 

About 300 armored vehicles and 2000 troops are participating in the drills, the press service said. The Peace Mission exercises are held for the fourth time, but for the first time in Kyrgyzstan. 

The drills involve military units from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia and Tajikistan.
