Davutoglu: Peace should prevail in the region

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davitoglu had a meeting with the United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Nahyan, Trend reports.

Addressing a joint press conference, Davutoglu said there is great potential for commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries and they have decided to intensify their cooperation for peace and security.

On a question regarding Israel, Davutoglu said that they want peace to prevail in the region. "Our foremost priority is the improvement of the economic and social conditions of our Palestinian brethren. As always, we will continue to assist the Palestinian people'', Davutoglu said.
