Turkey expects United States to extradite Gulen soon

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Ankara expects Washington, its ally, to extradite Fethullah Gulen, whose supporters have carried out an attempted coup in Turkey on July 15-16.

He stressed that Turkish side has provided all evidences of criminal activity of Gulen's organization and his involvement in the events of July, as a result of which 241 Turkish citizen have died.

"We are absolutely sure that FETO is behind an attempted coup in Turkey. Everyone, including the United States, know that it was organized and carried out by Gulen and his followers," he noted.
