US: it's not for us to dictate democracy in Azerbaijan

The US recognizes the results of the referendum in Azerbaijan, US department spokesman Mark Toner said at daily briefing.

"It’s not for us to dictate what the outcome of that democratic process may or may not be. We can’t dictate that term limits," he stressed.

"I think that our point of concern is in trying to work within the structures that are there to improve the democracy or democratic institutions, to improve and work where we can to improve to the process," he said.
